Uberlândia - BRAZIL

I´d like to introduce some of our students who are getting ready for the film festival. We live in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais in the centre of Brazil.
This group of students has a blog too, so why don´t you drop by and see what we´ve been doing? www.culturaib.blogspot.com

FILMS READYWell, Brazilians are not very happy with what Bush is doing in the world. You can see that very clearly from the films these students have created. The task was to ask students to create a dialogue in which they used indirect questions.
Bush and his secrets by Diego and Lorscheider
Just Bush by Carmem and Julia

Hello, there!
Welcome once again and thank you for this wonderful presentation!
Why don't you tell us a bit more about you and your city? How long have you been studying English? How do you like the idea of the Film Festival?

My name is Carla Raguseo and I teach English at A.R.I.C.A.N.A., a Binational Center in Rosario, Argentina. We love Brazil and we've been working with some groups of Brazilian students from Brasilia since May. It's a pleasure to meet a new group of Brazilian friends. Have you ever been to Argentina?

Keep in touch and let's make the most of these experience!!

Hugs,

Carla

Dear Carla,
It´s great to be part of this project. Well, my name is Ana Maria Menezes and I teach English at a language institute called Cultura Inglesa. These students in the picture have been studying English for about 3 years and a half and we all live in the same city, Uberlândia. It has about 300,000 inhabitants and it´s 6 hours by car to Brasília, the capital. The weather is usually very warm and pleasant.
We´ll be in touch.

Congratulations on your movies! I'm glad they were a good way of expressing your points of view creatively. Good use of indirect questions, too! :)
Regards,

Carla
